Who We Are
Community Development Initiative-Kenya (CODE Initiative-Kenya) is a registered not-for-profit Community Based Organisation (CBO) in Siaya District, Nyanza Province of Kenya.
The CODE Initiative-Kenya addresses community related livelihoods and development issues. These include tailor made initiatives that endeavour to develop the community by uplift the living standards of the rural people whom we work with.
Our Mission
To inspire the rural communities to lift themselves above the poverty threshold by introducing community driven projects to raise their standards of life.

Our Programme
The CODE Initiative-Kenya is currently implementing a five-component Programme, The Improvement of Community Livelihoods & Economic Development (I-LED) programme. The I-LED prgramme is made up of the following 5 synergistic and integrated projects:-
1. Siaya Peasants' Economic Advancement (SPEAD) Project
2. Water, Sanitation & Education for Health (WASEH) Project
3. Village Savings & Credit (SACRED) Project
4. Community Income Generation & Economic Development (CIGED) project
5. Community Broadcasting (Dwond Gweng') Project
